Best CD's of 2011

Hi everyone. Been about a year since posting on this account. Well, that will change time permitting. I'm going to attempt to present my best CD of 2011. Now, I'm not a paid reviewer. I generally only get the CD's and music I pay for. But this past year has been good to me. What with going to pick over the carcass at the lamented Borders, I've acquired a record crop of new music this year.

I'm going to do a elimination bracket and review CD's head to head. I'll be reviewing different genres, and eras in some cases head to head. Any music I got in 2011 is eligible. If I manage to tick of 10 people reviewing in this fashion, I'll have tripled my readership.
